Meet our Cheltenham CTC Board Co-Chairs:
Anthony Joseph Birdsong is the La Mott Community Center Director for the Cheltenham Township Department of Parks and Recreation. He received his bachelor’s degree cum laude in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University in 2002.
After five successful years of working as a supervisor for La Mott Community Center, Anthony was hired as the Director for the Center in 2007. Since being hired as the Director, Anthony has achieved a certificate in Penn State’s Municipal Leadership program and Excelling as a Manager or Supervisor. In addition to working as a Director at La Mott Community Center, Anthony has been a member of the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society since 2007.
Danea L. Durham is a Trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police. She currently serves as the Community Service and Public Information Liaison. Originally from Philadelphia, Trooper Durham graduated from Olney High School and continued her education with a bachelor’s degree from Temple University.
Trooper Durham makes presentations upon request to a wide variety of community organizations to foster an understanding of State Police operations and programs. She serves as a Pennsylvania State Police liaison and representative with community groups and organizations affecting community tension; promotes understanding between such groups and the State Police. Trooper Durham also participates in arrangements for the Camp Cadet Program within Troop K and serves as a counselor during the conduct of the camp.
